"but ONLY if you used multiMAN to transfer the game from external USB to internal HDD"
I actually used BlackboxFTP v1.2 to transfer the game to Lauch1234/GAMEZ directory.
"If you used [R2] (usb controller patch mode) it may have changed access permission to a game"
But it only affected some games, I found it weird((
When I used previous version of this program. I have put the game in /dev/hd0/games directory and modified .ini file of the program. I can see the game but when I press R2 button (patch) the game got deleted from /dev/hd0/games directory and I could not find it any where
weird........
I would like to know what is going on here. Please advice thanks!
I'm using an older version 1.04 and did not bother to update because I never had any problems and I did not need the other extras. I do not know where to post this question and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I backed up most of my games to my external but by chance I tried making a another backup from my external to /dev/hdd0/GAMES. Here's the problem. It doesn't show up in the manager. It is eating a lot of space on my main. How do I delete those files?
EDIT: ok, i found out how to do it by using comgenie but what surprised me was that everything was in its place and I double checked the .ini file for the manager, everything points to the right place, but the manager still can't detect the game in /dev/hdd0/GAMES
Even using the new version multiMAN 1.08.02 does not detect the game. The game in particular is Valkyria Chronicles.

Version 01.08.04 is available for update from within the manager and manually. There are some fixes and now the SLIDE menu actually slides.
Also if options.ini or options_default.ini is found on a USB stick - it will be auto transferred to manager's folder so no need to ftp/manually copy your options - you can do it only once.

Updated the post with version 01.08.05:
It supports mounting of DVD-Video folders, recognizes dvd-video (VIDEO_TS) folders and PS2 games.

how does it work with the ps2 backups? do you have to extract the dics to usb or use it with hddloader images? of course it will only work on the big ps3s with backward compatibility
edit: copied everything from the ps2 disc to usb /GAMES/Gamename and now it gets displayed. just cant start it.
