i go into MM and click a game, and it sends me to XMB. Game disc is not changed though, its still my original disc. the only thing I can remember is I deleted LastGame since it was no longer working well for me. I then updated to 2.03 base and still same problem.

Hmm, can you see if you can install the BDEMU2.pkg, you can find that here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/new...lection-83805/ (New Homebrew - PS3/PC Collection) (be sure to install BDEMU2 and not just BDEMU. Ok?)
Also, what kind of issue was LASTGAME giving you? The reason why I ask, is that it's an app that is commonly misunderstood. It took me a while to understand it's purpose and also learn that it doesn't work for games where we need to activate SELECT+X (BD emulation) on external games.

thanks for the help, ill test it now. lastgame was ok at first, didint like how it took a while to "save settings" since ps3 is already kinda slow. then eventually it just stopped doing what it was meant to do (perhaps a certain game) and i had to keep selecting the lastgame for a while until my disc would turn into the game i wanted to play.
looked around for bdemu2 and did not find it in that post. is it on a certain page?

I also had an issue about how slow it was during the launch of a game after selecting it. But what it turned out was that it automatically scans the game file to see if it finds and "split" files. Since I have no intention of running games from my external with 4GB split files, I turned this feature off in the XMMB of multiman options. I am away from my PS3, but if you go down the column of the Options in the XMMB you can turn that feature off. Of course, if you plan not using +4GB split files from your external. If you do that, I think it safe to get LastGame back to your arsenal.
As for LASTGAME, you have to make sure you are not trying to use it with games that need BD emulation from external HDD games. Other than that, it works as it should. I tend to love it, because I don't have to go into multiMAN to load the last game I played after I turn on my PS3. But if you don't like it, that's fine. I know the BDEMU2.pkg will get you back and running.

It used to be, perhaps it was moved? Here is a straight link to the file: http://www.ps3free.org/Downloads/Col...pps/BDEMU2.rar

Another good place to find it (and other homebrew needs) is the 2nd url in my signature
Edit: sorry Jay-Jay I somehow missed your post above, but I do think you might have sent him to the wrong page. PS3 Collection not PS3/PC collection

Thanks, I appreciate that! You are absolutely 100% correct. All this time, I thought it was only one page that would list all PS3 Homebrew. I now bookmarked both. Thanks again!

XMMB/Setting/Verify USB Games-Disable it if you don't plan on playing split file cache games, once you click on lastGAME the name will change-that's just how the PS3 title cache works

Yes, that's how it is. Check out my bug report about the matter here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f192/last-game-bug-88237/ (last game bug?)
