Hi there, I am using MM2.02 with filezilla. I am uplodaing file to external HD without problem until last night. There are some files that can't be uploaded to the external HD.

I retry it several time and the same files refused to be uploaded while some files in the same directory upload just fine. This puzzle me.

What make an FTP server refused to put a file to the external HD? Filezilla report can't start file transfer. Many thanks for the help.

I've got the same problem on the internal HDD (Skate 3)

And DragonFTP or OpenPS3FTP worked like a charm, I thinks there's something wrong with the FTP function in MM.

I manage to put the files to internal HD using openPS3FTP v2.3 but this server does not list my external HD so it still not solve my problem.

I have tried it again and the transfer still fail with MM. I even think that transfer the file from my computer NTFS HD might be the culprit so I move all the files in question to FAT32 USB drive then try to FTP it to external HD using MM. Still all the files (1000+) failed to upload.

multiMAN's FTP fails when path+filename length exceeds 64 characters. I suggest that you use another ps3 FTP server.

Thanks for the explanation. Any plan to remove this limitation?
