    Dear All,

    Greetings.!!

First, let me take this opportunity to thank every person in this great form.. I've learned so many things from here and I'm really thankful for every single person who is contributing ..

Regarding MultiMan parental control, it can be bypassed, using the following method (I'm using MultiMan 2.01.00):

1- Bring your external HDD, copy "any" level 9 game into it.
2- inside the copied game "folder" put any .PKG file "example: usb000\GAMES\BCES00802\EP9000-BCES00802_00-PATCH00000000002-A0200-V0100-PE.pkg"
3- Connect your external HDD drive.
    4- Lunch MultiMan
5- Set parental control to level 9,
now Try to lunch the game from main menu, it will ask you for a password..! Sweet..!! but.......
    6- go to File Manager
7- browse to your game folder (usb000\GAMES\BCES00802\)
8- click on the copied .PKG file, & press "yes"
9- now multiman has closed, and, the game is mounted without entering any password..

is it a bug? or is it only me?

    Thanks Alot

Game violence != game nudity .. BCES00802 = Heavy Rain. This game has its share, & I don't want to leave "any" chances.. Also, violence for a 9 years old kid is, well, not recommended.. I'd love to have my games protected, so he can play all "other" open games..

    Back to main subject.. anyone???

I have that game but didn't play it yet.. I'm more curious now to fix that "bug" , and I'll be so happy if it was only "me" who is facing this issue, so I can fix it asap..

Simple solution would be to beat the "living Hell" out of your child if you catch him going through the steps you provided to be able to play the game.
An even simpler solution would be to delete the game from your hard drive, go buy the game and only play it when he is not around to watch all of the "horrible" sex and violence in the game. That would pretty much take care of the situation.

One more............. go buy another PS3 and use it for "adult only" games.

It really comes down to how much "parenting" you are willing to do.

I Already have a separate HDD for such games, but I'm trying to provide the developers "AKA Dean" with "might be" bugs so they can perfect their software.. It's the least I can do for the community.

Well, I don't consider it as a bug. You're using two different functions in multiMAN and actually you're exploiting the "package installer" function. What I can do is to add a check and disable .pkg mounting from a folder/path which contains /PS3_GAME/.

    * This change will be available later today in version 02.04.00.

Thank you so much for your reply .. If you make it as an "option" under "settings", then it would be great, since there might be some users who prefer it the way it is..
