    Hello,

Hopefully DeanK can shed some light on this problem, but for the last few versions of Mm (usual CEX version btw on a kmeaw 3.55) I keep getting the problem that menu settings are being 'reset' to default status after quitting and restarting the aplication.

    The settings which reset to their default values are as follows (with reset values after);

    XMMB sparks - Enabled
    Swap sticks inMMos - Disabled
Expand contents of XMMB media column - No
BAckground apearance - image (I usually use a video as a background)
PSX display mode - Both PAl and NTSC return to 'default' (usually set to 576p and 720p respectively)

Also oddly the menu background music will reset to the main theme from time to time even tho I have the menu option to play background music set to 'Music' and it still retains the setting but doesn't play music from the music folder.

These are the only options I alter in MM so not sure if other values 'reset'. I have tried to note a pattern as to when this occurs but I cannot reproduce a consistant occasion where these values reset. It can happen after playing a title, getting black screen on a title, loading from a second usb, copying from a second usb or even simply quitting and restarting multiman.

Options.ini is in the correct place as stated in the text file but the .ini does not contain these values to be altered.

As I stated this has been happening now for the last 3 versions I have installed and reinstalled, so I'm pretty stumped as to what is happening here.

Any ideas please would be most appreciated.

Thanks for you time and thank you DeanK for your work on mM.

I also noticed that some options reset but was never able to find the pattern or make it reset them at my will. I'm looking at the issue.

    Hello,

    Many thanks for the reply

I've tried to do some further testing onthis and there 'may' be a pattern that the options are resetting when the image is moved after a bd mirror title is loaded in. Either succesfully (and game has been played) or unsucessfully (in that the game tried, didn't work, then bd mirror option set, game played, worked then back to Mm front end and another non bd mirror title loaded and played) then back to mM again.

If that makes any sense :s

It does not seem to happen after a normal non bd mirror title is played, then for example, a number of PSN titles loaded from XMB are played.

I'm not technically minded on the magic that your multiman performs but doesn't it transfer the contents of the BLES/BlUS etc folder somewhere when bd mirror is activated then move them back again. There does seem to be a strong correlation between this event and the resetting of the options.

Or it may be that I have too many bd mirror games and it's just coincidence...

Hope this is a help and not a hinderance.
