I'd like to learn if there is a way to unite files that were originally split by Split4, but on a PC?

I know multiMAN can unite them once transferring from USB HDD to Internal HDD, but I'd like to be able to unite them in my PC on a NTFS HDD? What tool do you guys recommend?

Do you have Aldostool's ps3tools installed because the split/join feature will probably do it

There is a Java app that could do it on a PC. It's called Open Split or something like that.

I hate java so I wrote an app back then to do the same thing If I had it now I would've posted it

Use OpenSplit v1.2 or PS3_File_Splitter to merge the .666xx files.
Make sure you have msvbvm50.dll in the same directory as PS3_File_Splitter. I think that the new aldostools has it (not open split) incorporated in the ps3_tools pack but if your looking for just the merger, that is the actual file/program name you want to use.

Open command prompt, change to the folder with the split files and type something like:

    copy /b file1.ext.66600+file1.ext.66601+file1.ext.66602+file1.ext.66603 file1.ext

file1.ext is the actual file name of the file you want to re-join and you have to add the +file... for all split segments.
