I figured that I would put this out there hoping that it would deter the questions in random threads (and the half ass answers).

It's very simple to do. As far as I know, you NEED to burn the ISO to a disc. There may be some re-direction later, but for now, burn it to a CD. Put the CD in your PS3. Now fire up MultiMan and go to the file manager. Browse to dev_flash / ps1emu / ps1_emu[dot]elf (or something like that). Run the ps1_emu[dot]elf file. If will fire up the PS1 emulator that will boot the burned game in the drive. Done.

EDIT: There is one drawback as boltocrank pointed out, there is no saving.

Really, I thought that was just my mistake. Hmm. Weird. I'm sure it won't take long for a fix though.

doing the same method on PS2emu.elf will kick you off to XMB and do nothing.

In short PS2 Backups is not working with this method.
    Model: CECHC04 PAL/EUR 60GB SKU Console
Firmware: REBUG 3.55 CFW [DEBUG MODE, DEBUG XMB, MENU OPTION 2]
BM: Iris Manager v1.2 (Hermes Syscall8)

what about if i launch dc_emu will that launch dreamcast games?

lol j/k this is cool news, however i don't like using discs anymore, so i might burn like nfl blitz or something that can be played quick with no saves. maybe we will get usb loader? that would rule. here's hoping that dean is focused on it
