I check the size of my multiman on the xmb and it is almost 6gb. But I don't have any extra themes installed or anything like that. Is this something I should be worried about? and Would it be safe to delete it and reinstall the newest MM?

Should only be around 300MB.
MM is slowly trying to take over your PS3.... lol jk
should only be around 300MB if you have the FULL release, 25-40MBs if Base only. I checked my MM folder just the other day, and it was around 6GBs, but a couple of days after It went down to just around 300MBs, so it probably "installed" some dummy data to play a backup or something like that.
6GB.... , maybe some cached files from External ?
I have never used MM to cache a internal game. I always do a full copy of it over. Just so I don't have to wait every time I wanna play it. That's why I wondered why it was so big.( wow that sounded bad)
multiMAN also creates symbolic links to all your video files under its own USRDIR/XMB Video. When the PS3 scans for space it counts these links as real files and you get 6GB reported while the links only occupy less than 50kb.
I love symbolic links.![]()
