Help about loading ps2 games with multiman in a ps3 BC

so ive loaded the ps2 game in multiman, and it loaded the game saw the experimental screen, and what do i have to do now? swith the ps3 disk with a ps2 disk and load the ps2 disk? causse it loaded the game disk not the game on the hdd, am i doing something wrong or in not the right order? pls help

from what i know ps2 backups (hdd or burned) dont work on ps3s unless you have a 60gb with ps2 emu and swap magic (or similar)
