    I've updated Simple is Beautiful to v4.0

    All images cleaned up, and generally made to look better.

    See first post on this topic for download.

    I've left audio out of my theme, so people can choose there own or have their own music playing - also the theme is nice and small (file size) for a quick download.

    Enjoy!!!

    I'm very happy you are still around! Thanks for the update. I'll update your first post so the new version/download is present there. If you plan on providing more updates, I can sticky this topic and help you organize your first post, so all your work from present to past is nicely displayed on the first post of this thread. Just say the word, and it will be my pleasure!

    P.S. I love this theme! Can't wait to test the new version!!

    Cheers Jay-Jay, I love 'Simple is Beautiful' too. I used to change themes almost every week, this one has been on since I created it about 4 months ago - It even dampened my need to create more themes because I love this one so much!! Let me know what you think about the update, I've altered bits and bobs and in my opinion it's better than before. The multiMAN text and logo are much sharper (i redrew it all) and I'm sooo glad that .png support was put in for the little hard drive icons.

    I love it!

    I've had your theme on my setup since you created it. I do test a few out there, but I always come back to this one. It's easier on my eyes at dark. Plus I love that I can clearly see the text [game titles, paths, XMMB print, and etc] (where with other themes, unfortunately it gets obscured a bit).

    Question: did you forget to include the ICON0.PNG image? You see, I was testing another theme, before I added yours, and when I did, that image did not get replaced and instead it was showing the image from the previous theme I was testing.

    I think it must be important to make sure that any theme we create, must have something to show for when it comes to these images (the default ones that mmCM requires), or else the previous images from another theme, will be used in it's place--if missing.

    Another note, I was testing another theme, which made all the font a light blue color. When I switched towards yours afterwards, the font's color was still blue. I had to then install several themes, until the font was white again, then switch to yours afterward--so it stays white. I think the issue is that yours is missing some information over the color of the font you want the theme to have. Perhaps that's why the COLOR.INI is important to have, or else another theme's file will be used instead--if missing.

    I wish there was a way that it would first wipe out all the images and files from a previous theme, before installing another one. Perhaps if deank or another person could figure out how to clear that img folder (where all these images and files get extracted from a theme in the new mmCM (multiMAN 04.00.00) would resolve this tiny issues that seem to happen when switching to different themes.

    Sorry for giving you more information then what you asked for. I am that way sometimes...

    The problem with heapy's COLOR.INI is that it misses the XMB_COLOR definitions:

    XMB_CLOCK=0xffd0d0d0
    XMB_COLUMN=0xf0e0e0e0
    XMB_TITLE=0xf0e0e0e0
    XMB_SUBTITLE=0xf0909090

    XMB_SPARK_SIZE=4

    #SPARK/STARS COLOR USES RRGGBBAA format
    XMB_SPARK_COLOR=0xffffff00

    It also misses definitions for other display modes, probably because he uses an old version of COLOR.INI.

    I may have forgotten to put the ICON0 in!! I spent about 8 hours touching everything up, and updating it - It was 4.30 AM when I finished and uploaded it, I think I must of been tired and forgetful!! I've put the ICON0 in now, and added a few things like default text files. I checked my files against the default theme and it now has every file needed, so when installed over a different theme all the files change. I hadn't noticed because the only theme I had installed over was the original mM4 theme.

    I love your feedback Jay-Jay - It's always honest and thorough - The best way!!

    Yeah sorry I hadn't noticed the COLOR.INI had changed - all files that were missing/incorrect should now have been corrected!!! Sorry!!

    @deank, thanks man! You're always very helpful!

    @heapy83, thanks for the new fix--I plan on installing it now. I'll report back soon. (I will replace the previous link in your first post with this one.)

    BTW, I am pretty sure you may know by now, that a few files their names changed. So far I think:

    BOOT.PNG is now CBOOT.PNG
    PRB.PNG is now CPRB.PNG

    I know there may be some others, but those are the ones I noticed right away.

    Is there a way you can provide us another download, but just the files inside a folder? I don't know how to extract a thm file. I only go by after it is installed and I check the img folder in mmCM.
