Games no longer work after multiMAN update (04.08.01 > 04.10.00) CFW 4.30

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on a problem I am having.

I was originally on KMEAW 3.55 CFW. I upgraded last week to Rogero CEX CFW 4.30 v1.00 and multiMAN 04.08.01. Everything worked as it should, I could load all the games I had backed up when I was on 3.55 CFW.

Today I loaded up multiMAN and saw the pop-up saying there was a new version of multiMAN (04.10.00), so I updated. I also updated a couple of games I had backed up. (All of this was done through multiMAN)

Now whenever I load a game and try to run it, I am kicked back to XMB with an error code 80010514. What is going on?

I have tried deleting multiMAN and reinstalling the old version, resetting multiMAN settings back to default, trying BD-Mirror, changing BD emulation mode, all give me the same result. My ps3 can still read discs.

Have I done something wrong? Can anyone offer any advice?

I would read through the forums deank tells you how to fix the games through multiman, also make sure you are using original eboots, thats what I did atleast.
To help get you going, all you have to do is update the game in multiman (highlight the game, press square) and then install the pkg(s) it downloads for the game. I have 1 or 2 games I could'nt get working, one was batman AC, but 'I just got the GOTY edition and then it worked fine (goty=game of the year).

This is the 4th time I have left this type of post, I don't know how much reading you have done, but I would search this site. I stumbled across some helpful tips, so if you are actively searching you should have no problem getting your games working.

Thanks for the reply. I have been reading through these forums and a few others for a couple of hours now, still trying to work out my problem. Yes I am using original eboots and my games are updated. I can't work out why every game played fine through multiMAN 04.08.01 yesterday and now after updating to 04.10.00 none of them work even after applying updates and using original eboots. I still get the same error message 80010514 which I think has something to do with the drive being damaged, even though it reads discs fine.

I had a similar problem after updating to CFW 4.30 ..try deleting the game data for each game that doesnt work and let the game reinstall the data.see if that helps.

when you updated there should have been a MM in the update file thats compatable with CFW. i kept getting corrupted hdd until i installed the correct MM.
just reinstall the MM that worked for you or update rogero to 1.2 or 1.3
just updated to 1.02 and installed the MM that came with the folder also has a ps home fix and the most compatable showtime.

Still getting a lot of black screens here after loading backup from Multiman. Even after download updates onto USB from Mulitiman and installed the downloaded *.pkg files. What I do notice is that if I go back into multiman and select
update for the game it tells me to re-download updates, does this mean that the updates (pkg files) are not installing correctly?..oops sorry I am on Rebug

When installing updates thru MM they zhouldnt be pkg files unless updating MM itself. Pick a blaxk screen game hit square then select update. Do you have bd enabled or.disabled? How bout bd emu hermes or standard? On rebug what FW?

When pressing square, I then select update on game options. It thens says that update is available and downloads it to the usb drive (BLUS30838_[UPDATE_01_PS3FW_04.0000]_VER_01.19.pkg)
after download is complete then installation of pkg file is done through package manager.
