File Zilla File Transfer Fails
File Zilla File Transfer Fails –
I woke up this morning to find that file zilla had 1000+ file transfer fails and only 84 successful. Why the hell is this happening to me? I even set it all up with all the correct settings with simultaneously transfers and connections to 1 and still I get this error bullsh*t. Now I am forced to overwrite it all again and it is going to take hours. How does anyone get this to work properly? I really need that ethernet cable because doing this wireless SUCKS. And flashfxp SUCKS for me too. Can someone please help me? I don't know if its because this site doesn't have a lot of members or what but I rarely get any help on my threads. Granted most are a "figure it out yourself" type but this one is a stumped and I cant get this to work right. Please someone respond with a intelligent answer, something to get me out of this rut? Thank you.
If you were doing it overnight or you walked away it sounds like the power save feature kicked in on your PS3. There's a setting in the PS3 menu and in multiman's menu. Turn them both off. Another thing to check is that your wireless router isn't kicking you off during transfer. You can set up port forwarding to help out if that's the case. Most routers are set up as 192.168.1.1. Type that into your browser to pull up the service menu. The user/pass is usually admin and admin. Look for the section on port forwarding and set up FileZilla with your PC's IP address and set up your PS3's IP address in another line.
More than likely it's just the power save setting. Try that first

there is a problem with filezilla, and i know it to be a fact. when i am transferring games that have alot of files (like 2000-4000 or more) i get alot of errors and failed transfers. i think it has to do with the amount of files each game has. if it was a large game with not so many files it would go great. maybe try a different server like flashftp or cuteftp ect ect
also, i never use any user name and password to connect, it connects fine.
made sure all those power save options were disabled first. port forwarding is something I need to check. Right now I am using the latest flash fxp and getting 200-300kb/s which is crap but hopfully it will not give me failed connections. thank you for the help. I really need to do the lan connection option....this sucks.
