I hope this is the correct section for this, but anyways, here it goes.

As far as I understand, with a jailbroken PS3 on Kmeaw's 3.55 CFW, I can only play games that require up to 3.55 and games that need something higher require a fix/patch, but this usually doesn't happen for awhile. So, since I am already limited on the games that I can play, why do I need to update Multiman? I understand that when you update a 360's LT firmware, it's for more protection so you can't easily be spotted when playing online. However, since I can't play online and the games that I'm already playing work well, why do we still need to update Multiman?

lease tell me if I'm wrong about only being able to play games requiring 3.55 or lower because I'd love to play this new SSX. Basically, I'd love to be told I'm wrong in this instance.

You don't need to update Multiman, it's optional.

Because deank always keeps optimizing it's performance so it runs better on your PS3. Plus with the latest optimization of copying speed, it's worth the update. Just read the darn changelog, its all there. I hope you don't expect us to always "motivate" you to upgrade? lol -- I'll do it once, but after a while, I'll skip the question!

But if you are really serious about playing games 3.60+ get a True Blue dongle! That's where it's at right now!

I wasn't trying to get people to convince me to upgrade, Jay. :P Sorry if I came off that way.

Anyways, I've looked into the True Blue dongle. But, does it support all games or do games current only need a firmware up to 3.7 and it has support for that? Basically, I'm asking if it's future proof?

That's okay, I've been a bit curt with my replies today... I've had a bad day today.

It only supports the 3.60+ games that are patched to work with TB. Not all games can be patched (or have been patched) look in the sub-forum under TrueBlue Dongle and then find the sticky topic that shows all the 3.60+ compatible games. Plus all games that used to work for regular CFW 3.55 work fine with TB including PSN games--some don't need a disc anymore to load. Plus also keep in mind that currently TB doesn't support playing games that are split on your external HDD, you will have to copy them over to internal HDD when you want to play them.

As far as how far up some games have been cracked? The recent release of Jak & Daxter Collection is fw 4.0+ and TB cracked it.

Hmm, sounds good. I'll probably pick one up in the coming months. Thanks for all the help. It's much appreciated.
