external hdd NTFS not working with Multiman
external hdd NTFS not working with Multiman –

Hi everyone, i got a little problem getting my NTFS external hdd to work with multiman/gaia, i've been looking for every guide in the net, and it seems i'm doing the right things, but the outcome is... not working.
my hdd is a 2TB westen digital (in a lindy case), which has its own power source (does this give problems?)
i used the usb deview to look at the drive's IDs on the letter the external was using, and found out 0x152d:0x2338:1 to be the line (0xvendor:0xproduct: partitions), copyed it to dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/USB.CFG using multiman manager by FAT key, removed the key, put the hdd, when i do the start+/\ it goes freezing totally and i have to powerdown from the ps3.
multiman 2.0, 3.55kmeaw, gaia 2.07;
i've been trying removing the 0x, putting the case's IDs too in the cfg, installing BDemu and some more things, but nothing seems to be working to me, what am i doing wrong ?
sigh-

NTFS does not work in Gaia (never has never will, as Gaia is abandon-ware) as for multiMAN it will NOT play games of NTFS for that the NTFS driver would have to be implemented into FW. So now for your problem, it has been stated by me, Dean & others in the multiMAN thread the NTFS driver does not work with all external drives (I've tried 2 myself 2TB (works) 1TB (doesn't work)) so if you set it up like it's supposed to be and it doesn't it just won't and never will with the current driver. There is nothing Dean can do to make it work that he hasn't already tried, Sorry!!

not every hdd?
that makes no sense...
oh well, figures, why should one be able to do things fastly when he can copy and split files for hours...
thanks for the reply, guess i'll have to continue copying games by lan cable when the connection allows it (limit to 2 hardwares online ftw)
