Does the mmCM support movie BDISO / DVDISO Posters and or Covers on the XMMB? And if it does. Where do they go and what names(Probably the same name as the ISO in question) do they take.

I tried looking this up on the user guide, question section, searched on the web and nothing came up.

I haven't tried with any BD or DVD ISO but i'm sure it is the same way you would with avi files or any other video files..

png or jpg.. (I cant remember if it needs to be capital or lowercase i know DOES matter one way or another, unless that has changed)

but it need to have the same title as the video file..

    Video Title.iso
    Video Title.png

and place it in the same folder as the video..

Yeah.... I've already tried all that. Been trying all day. CAPS, no CAPS, both(BDCOVERS / mmCM) cover folders.

I know .avi, .mkv, .m4v are supported but, I don't think .ISO is yet.

Would be nice to have that. Poster and Cover. I might just start making avi's out of them. Guess I'll wait and see.

    Video Title.iso
    Video Title.png - [Poster]
    Video Title.jpg - [Cover]

    or

    Video Title.iso
    Video Title[Poster].png
    Video Title[Cover].png

    Video Title[Poster].jpg
    Video Title[Cover].jpg

or just the icon would be nice.

    or

Having them all in there own folders(like I have) and using the system of the PS3 image structure.

    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/DVD TITLE.iso
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/ICON0.png - Icon(of course)
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/PIC0.png - Cover
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/PIC1.png - Poster

    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/DVD TITLE.iso
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/ICON0.jpg - Icon(of course)
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/PIC0.jpg - Cover
    /dev_hdd0/DVDISO/DVD TITLE/PIC1.jpg - Poster

Just like STLcardsWS said: you have to put the .png/.jpg cover in the same folder as the .iso, named the same way. It works and it always did.

Yeah.... I've tried that. It doesn't matter what size I make it and or extension. I don't know what's going on. Any other icon image I make for .avi, .mkv, .m4v work fine. Don't have a problem with them. Just the ISO ones I'm having issues with.

Also, I know that certain .jpg formats will not work. So, I use Media player Classic to make these images. As I said above, they all work fine on the other extensions. Just the ISO's icons won't show up. It's alittle, i don't know, frustrating.

I'm gonna keep trying. Making different images, using different programs to make them, placing them where ever.

If you say it works, then this.......

HUH, I got it to work. I changed the extension from JPG to jpg. Lower case letters only I see then. Will remember that one. I read some where that they had to be UPPER case and that's what I was putting.

.PNG .png won't show the icon. It'll change the DVDISO icon to a Unrecognized image pic icon. The plan icon that mmCM uses for image. If that's any use. I don't know. Maybe just .jpg is only used, I don't know.

So anyways, I'm off to make more icons.

EDIT: I get the same thing with Unrecognized .jpg images too. mmCM is real picky on images. You can view'em fine in pic view but, not when using them as icons.
