Allright, I have a new thread, New Themes - multiMAN Collection. I am thinking about removing the BACKUP MANAGER THEMEz section, and only keeping the NEW thread updated with themes. Anyone think I should keep both, let me know![]()

This is now my main theme. I was using the Tron Theme from Condor Strike but aside from maybe 2 screens I wasn't that impressed. Is there a way to make MultiMan boot to a default screen, of like the 7 it comes with? I don't want to flip through them all to get to the one I prefer at startup.
Either way, GREAT job man, this is an amazing theme. I just wish you were more of a DC fan instead of Marvel lol.
Yeah I saw your post in the main thread about that and it brought it to my attention. I was testing, testing, and testing a new one and so didn't know until you mentioned it and I then saw it for myself. He did fix it, but I also know what caused it. It was a bit depth issue for those very few images and I'll fix that "just in case" with any future updates.
Thanks!
He does have the ability to lock multiMAN down to one display mode. You can set this in settings area of the XMB Mode. Some people have asked for the ability to exclude however many display modes they'd like, in your case probably excluding 2, but he hasn't done that. I think I may know the 2 modes that you're talking about and themers really have very little control over those. Maybe our legend pops up in them and that's it. I'd probably lock those out myself as well. lol He has other more pressing matters right now though.
I grew up only as a Marvel fan. Recent movies and DC Universe Online have given me a little more appreciation for DC than I had before. I was trying hard to share the wealth, really I was. lol
Updated to 2.1, please see first post in the thread.
Hey JAC,
Can you elaborate on the issues you had? I saw you posted in the main thread about 16bit/8bit or something....
It's just because I have a new theme coming soon and might tweak/tidy my other one also and I'd like to get it right first time.
Still love the Comic Book theme!

Sure. Well, there was a little update to multiMAN a few back and after that a few of my files didn't want to show up properly in my themes. After further investigation, they were files that I had not turned into 8 bit mode inside of photoshop. You can create a file in 8 bit mode, or you can adjust that later... "image, mode" in the upper menu. Dean turned right around and corrected this in the next multiMAN update, but I wanted to stay extra safe and turned those few files into 8 bit mode just in case. One quick way to tell would be to go into your themes folder in windows explorer and add a view column for "bit depth". You have to be viewing it in details mode for this. Then anything you see with a higher bit depth than 32, such as 64 or above would show up in photoshop as being 16 bit or higher. Luckily I didn't see any visual difference after making those 8 bit, which I believe turned them into 32 bit when looking inside of windows explorer.
Thanks for replying JAC. Though after reading it and scratching my head for a bit I think I have everything ok, emphasis on 'think'.
Of course I have to be the awkward one because I use PaintShop Pro, not Photoshop. I think all my images are 24bit depth in PSP and windows show some of them as 32bit. BTW, I can only find an option for 'bit rate' column in XP (not bit depth) and it doesn't show any info so was just looking at the properties of a few of them.
Anyway, thanks again, and I 'think' it'll be ok
