Can't update multiman, can't update games

I've got a 3.55 PS3 slim and jailbroke it using kmeaw. Everything works fine - I installed Multiman, emulators, played a game or two, etc.

But I can't update Multiman within the app - I get the message "Error occurred while contacting the update server! Please try again later."

And whenever I try to update a game, I get "Cannot find update information for this title!"

It's as if my PS3 isn't connected to the internet, which it is, as I have an IP address, network connection tests pass fine, I can use the web browser, etc.

What am I doing wrong here? I had Multiman 04.07 full and had this problem, then removed it and installed 04.13.00 base and I'm having the exact same issue. I can't play some games (like Little Big Planet) without searching for the update pkg files on the net - isn't that what the game update function of Multiman is for? Or am I dumb?

I just tested it on my end, and yep, seems like multiMAN's server is down at the moment.

I had tried yesterday and got the same errors - is the update server regularly down for days at a time, or is it mostly up and I just keep trying to hit it at the wrong moments?

I wouldn't know if this is a common issue or not, since I only go online with multiMAN when I know that there is a new update available for it. Otherwise, I keep my PS3 offline.

Hmm. Anybody else out there have regular problems connecting to the update server for Multiman and game updates?

I have updated 2 or 3 games without any issues think it was day before yesterday so everything seems ok, only issue i have sometimes is updating MM but i would say thats because server is busy if i leave it a day or two its fine.No point in trying to download MM on same day release.

I had same issue yesterday. For every game i tried : Cannot find update information for this title!
Saturday or friday it was ok, I manages to upload one game.
But since, no success. I think servers are down or something like that...
