Black Screen Wu/Geohot/lv2/multiman??

So I've tried installing Far Cry 2 and God of War Collection to the HDD and I've tried directly running them from multiman (already ran the lv2 patcher before) but I get a black screen for both of them. There is no app_home in Wu or Geohot so I can't run them from XMB either. What's the deal? Is anybody else having issues?

Should I just revert to OFW and then to kmeaw? kmeaw seems to be working for most people...

yeah, same here. Im on a FAT 256mb NAND. 3.55>wutang>geo. running the package before opening bm. everything installs fine but all my backups just go to black screen.

Got the black screens with kmeaw and multiman also , tried rogero backup manager and it asked me if i wanted to fix permissions when i launched and now the games work perfectly

Hmm.. Well I'm reverting back to OFW now and then I'll install kmeaw cfw. Question though, how do I install packages on kmeaw cfw? Can I install geohot over it?

On kmeaw u can running any pacjages such as 3.41 and 3.55 btw i get black scrren too! Thats why im reverting bk to 3.55 ofw wbu?

lv2 its pl3 based dont it ?
tomb raider only works with the package i maded for geohot

kmeaw have the install package menu+app_home menu.

though in this case i think you dont actually have to update the firmware , just try the rogero backup manager and get it to fix the permissions , seems that is what is causing the black screens ( atleast it seemed like that for me)

edit: its definatly the permission thing that was causing my black screens , games that i have fixed permissions with rogero now works in multiman

how do you get these managers to fix permissions?

Rogero backup manager asks you if you want to fix them when you launch a game.

it didn't for me. It just loads the game, but I get either black screens or return to the XMB. I try using the short cuts (L1+[] or L1+Start) and it says nothing needs to be done.
