As far as I know its only possible , if your lucky to read from ntfs harddrive to the ps3 , but writing to a ntfs hd is not possible
You should be able to mount an external through multiMAN in NTFS mode (some people (myself included) have had issues with being able to get the mount to work properly).
By doing this, you should be able to transfer files just fine through MM's file manager.
I am assuming that you are on 3.55 CFW and have the capability of running multiMAN.
Edit...........
With what Dreamwebber just posted, I could easily be wrong with my above statement.
I've been wrong before.![]()
any particular reason why you cant format this external to fat32?
as there's several options to move the data on there elsewhere (including onto the ps3 and back after a format) then couldnt you move it to wherever, format to fat32 (or at least partition it) then do it that way?
not trying to be annoying here just asking if theres a reason you cant as i've been down a similar road before and the simpliest approach (even if a bit long) is usually the best.... occam's razor and all that
