I overwrote the files on the flash needed and I want to undo it but, you guessed it. I didn't backup the files. I was unaware that once on the rebug xmb I couldn't use my media servers. Is there anyway I could get the feature back?

not quite sure what you mean. did you add the unofficial 3.61 spoof, or are you on REBUG CFW and just want to use your media server function?

oo yeah sorry. was pretty tired when i posted this. i mean the spoof.
so i couldn't just replace them with unmodified files from a ps3 of the same settings?
Try flashing the ReBug CFW from Recovery Menu. It should overwrite the files changed and revert them back to normal.
i got RSOD when i put back the old files when i was on 3.61 spoof, the fix was simple, all i did was go to service mode, reflash to ofw then back to cfw.
did it. im back on 3.55 kmeaw but my media servers still aren't showing up??? it doesn't even show the option to search for media servers. what else do i need to do?
edit
now i feel dumb. media server was disabled under network settings. idk how i missed that. thanks a lot for your help guys.
