Would installing this spoof still provide any advantage at all?

And what is the difference between these two files:

3.60_Version_Spoofer_v1.1.geohot.pkg
3.60_Version_Spoofer_v1.1.pkg

??

The diff is that the geohot one is geared twords geohots jailbreak and shouldn't be loaded to a non geohot system. the other is for most other CFW like kmeaw or rebug. Im not to savvy but from what I gathered the geohot one has a different way of operating overall and needs things like special signed packages and so forth. hope that helped.

Oh and to answer your first question I hear it keeps games from asking for an update or tricking the ones that need 3.6 that you have it already. So for newer games yes it's beneficial...for older games it's not needed.

as long as u don't interrupt the install. if you do you'll get stuck in a data loop and will have to get your console into service mode to re-flash the firmware.
