ok, as i'm not interested in 3.55 cfw right now i haven't tested the 3.55 rebug.
and what about using the "official" privacy tcl? as i overlooked it, the patches seem to be the same.
i'm running this very moment the 3.55 pup. no error so far.
but i can remember your error message. maybe messed up paths or keys? or did you try to edit the tcl yourself? i got these messages when i tried first to make these bootsound plugins myself. i think the format of your tcl files is messed up. or insufficient write priviledges.
completed tasks, so no error on 3.55 rebug privacy patching here...
Ill make it and upload it for you.
here built with mfw 0.2 in ubuntu
md5'd before and it matched the rebug site, used the rebug privacy patch on rebug.me in conjunction with mfw 0.2 with the REBUG patch being the only option i selected in the config
USE AT OWN RISK, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY OF WHAT HAPPENS IF THIS DOESNT WORK, though it should work, i dont get anything out of this negatively impacting your ps3 so if it does its completely unintentional. but really it should work fine (i didnt use it, i have no desire for rebug.)
Thank yo all for the help. It js driving me insane as to why I can't get this version to work for me. I have tried both the debug and normal versions of the privacy patches and both fail at the same spot. If I remove the one that is giving me troubles from the list it just errors out on the next one. And I am using the rockbox compiled portable version that was given to me from a link in this post and using an un-edited .tcl file right from debugs site. Checked all md5 and all match up. Im not an idiot and know my way around and did not have problems with v1. Thanks for the post you all have a great day and thanks for the help.
I was only able to get the PC version to work and that was a b!@tch as well. If you are trying the PC version only thing I would suggest to make sure is that you are running the program from these locations
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner - This is where your "P3MFW" program folder should go
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner - This is also where your "ps3keys" folder should go
Other than that only tip I can give is that I had to cross compile different files and folders just make sure I had everything. If you get an error with one file or task. Delete that file or task and try to replace it with one from another compiled version.
This program is awesome when you can get it to work but the releasing of the program should come with more testing prior to release as to make sure it is a correct build so we dont have 15 crap builds floating around...
I feel your pain

It is now fixed!!! Here is where my problem was steming from and it was all placement of the app.
So a huge thanks goes out to you and I finally have my non-portable build working by putting the app there instead of my normal folder for PS3 PC apps. Thank you so much!!

Also if you want, you can still create a shortcut to the .exe for P3MFW inside that folder, then place the shortcut wherever you would like it. Then it will just open up the program from that location each time.

here is a Mac version
Here is a Mac OsX version of the ps3mfw v02 and the ps3mfw v02 gitbrew tasks. If any of the readers here may need. The app contains the failoverfl0ws tools as of march 25. only thing that should be needed is the keys in your home directory.
won't eat up your thread just look here if you need Mac info.
Thanks for all of your hard work with rebug!
