Thanks dude, After that screen, it gets black and cant see shit. Gonna watch a japan ps3 and see what icons they got on there xmb and work blind to try and get back to north America. Wish me luck!

AWESOME! it worked. The thing is, in japan, the O button means enter, where as in north America it means back. lol I can see again! XD But it's all in Japanese! rofl

according to team rebug you are good to go:

INSTALL:

Rebug 3.41.2 and 3.55.1 can be installed over the same version OFW/CFW/MFW on any model PS3 through the XMB or Recovery Mode and Rebug 3.41.2 can be installed in Service Mode if needed to downgrade OFW 3.50.

Im able to connect to PSN with sp-int but can someone connect to the retail PSN?

[lang=en]How the hell did you manage to get your console in Japanese? Anyway, you should try to select はい on that screen. The tricky part is that Japanese PS3s use "O" to confirm and "X" to cancel.
If setting HDMI mode doesn't work, try a video output reset (see manual).

To select a language enter the Toolbox menu (it says 設定), go into "本体設定", and then into "表示言語".[/lang]
