Downloading as we speak. Thanks for your continued effort and energy for the scene!
I'm sorry to hear about your parents and i wish you and your family all the best, i know first hand its tough.
Looking at these settings theres some pretty neat stuff in here...
Now if there was a setting to bypass act.dat checks to allow the playing of DLC content installed without the license...that'd be amazing...I want to download and play arrival for me2 so bad.
Its to awesome for me to handle! It has a lot of cool features! Thx team rebug!
most of these settings are of no use to your average user, but this cfw could be useful to anyone who exactly knows what to do with these features though.
The fake save user feature is pretty amazing...that will allow trading of save files now.
The NPDRM features could prove incredibly useful.
The way I see it as with these options now open and many more possibly going to become open it will allow us to access and bypass many protective features of the Ps3 that we still haven't been able to.
Like..maybe playing DLC on a ps3 without the license..or ps1 games..
or accessing a custom psn network.
there are many many many things we could do with the system once we have all the options available we will just have to see and wait til people mess around with it and see what's up
if anyone can confirm we can use ps3 on non hdcp monitors i may switch cfw• HDCP
High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of digital copy protection developed by Intel Corporation to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connection. (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
- “Off” : the HDCP protection is deactivated.
- “On” : the HDCP protection is activated
and does anyone know if installing cfw over another cfw will cause dlc to be lost/deactivated?
