I was just trying to activate rebug and couldn't figure out how to exit.

I figured it is because I am using a ps2 controller via usb adapter, thus have no ps button. Can you confirm this to be the case?

Edit: I'm being stupid again. This is obviously what it meant by "ingame xmb". So yeah, I need to save my pennies for a real controller.

Holding the power button on the PS3 will give you the same result as AUTO REBOOT..

BUT

MAKE SURE THE SELECTOR HAS FINISHED ANY TASK BEFORE YOU SWITCH THE PS3 OFF.

AWESOME! it worked. The thing is, in japan, the O button means enter, where as in north America it means back. lol I can see again! XD But it's all in Japanese! rofl

EDIT: nvm, debug settings are still in english, lol.

Hi PuppetMaster why did you change your region on your ps3 ?
I was thinking of do this so i could watch my R1 dvd from the usa and usa bulrays on my ps3 then change back when i am done back to Australia which is R4 my dvd player died , so i was think i could use my ps3 and also for watching region A blueray disc from the usa which are really cheap to buy online.

Well then, it's not for you is it? This tool isn't designed explicitly to allow PSN access.

You may not have intended your comment to come across so dismissively (maybe something was lost in translation, as I assume your first language is not English), but it did so. Try harder to be less negative next time.

For the people asking if this will enable retail PSN, it will not so don't ask again :P
People are working on retail PSN support but we will not be. I feel as many others that CFW and PSN should not be mixed what so ever. You do however have access to the sp-int and prod-qa networks but for how long no one knows. Some games will work on those networks as long as others are on them as well, so if there are a few thousand people using rebug on sp-int and all playing the same game you just might be able to play each other but this is no guarantee. I can tell you 100% without a doubt that everyone will abuse the sp-int network and $ony will patch it within a week, it will also really piss off the people with TEST units they got from other channels because then they will be shit out of luck trying to get on those networks, so PLEASE do not abuse sp-int!

You shouldn't say "everyone" will abuse it. Some will yes. But not all. Me for example just like to play a few games of moh online with some friends and would like to play Crysis 2 online. Absolutely no hacking/cheating whatsoever. So saying everyone will abuse it is a little vague. On another note thanks for this awesome CFW. Keep it up guys you are what keeps the PS3 scene alive.
