thx for your answer. i've now realized that i have to wait a short period to make it reboot. but i have never thought it is the old selector. i've thought you have packed the pup with the latest one.
now downloading the new one...

So anyway life got in the way and im only just now about to start the reformat so will post results. Side note though, i did another slim ps3 last night, same story too... guy got the same deal on a tv as me, when i pointed him that way anyway, and so on and so forth. This machine is basicly a clone of mine having all the same updates and mods done in the same time frame... it worked a treat though and is switching like crazy... go figure huh.

I thought I would repost this because it got lost in the in the thread and nobleskill just reminded me of it in a PM after he figured it out for himself..
If Rebug Selector 1.4 is playing up for you, follow the directions below so you can use Rebug Selector 1.2 after updating until we sort out the problem.. :)
