To everyone having an issue with the Exit bug and cannot change modes, PLEASE BE PATIENT

For now please reinstall 3.55.1 and Rebug Selector 1.2.

Since we weren't aware in testing and haven't been able to reproduce the error ourselves, we are speaking live with a couple of people who are experiencing the issue and trying to get it sorted as soon as possible.

Please.. No more posts if you are experiencing the problem.. We will update you as soon as it is sorted.

maybe a complete format/erase of hdd could solve the problem? i had serious problems first with star ocean and then gta and in rebug selector i had to shut down manually with power button. all my other games were fine. and the quick format didn't solve the problem.

maybe this whole fw switching/downgrading messes up the hdd.

We have fixed the exit crash in NORMAL MODE that a handful of people were experiencing.

Good news is it WONT require a new PUP to fix it.

Give us a little bit to put it into pkg to run once from the XMB.

better patch that out on the pup directly to avoid further problems... but for those who already installed it and having problems with it... of course, pkg will be handful for them

That is the plan..

Just trying to fix the selector issue a couple of people are having as well at the same time.. Save doing multiple updates/fix if we can

Yes.. It says that in the release post..

INSTALL:
REBUG 3.41.3 and 3.55.2 can be installed over the same or lower version OFW/CFW/MFW on any model PS3 through the XMB or Recovery Mode.
