Question about the 22GB partition from REBUG OtherOS++
Question about the 22GB partition from REBUG OtherOS++ –
10-15-2011,08:04 AM
I installed the 3.55.2 REBUG OtherOS++ CFW with a 22GB partition in the past and decided today to revert back 3.55.2 REBUG CFW (non-otheros) to see if any problems running some games would be solved. I updated the firmware through the system update menu and noticed that the amount of HD space did not increase after I updated to the non-otheros version of REBUG, meaning that I still have the 22GB partition I made earlier when I first installed REBUG OtherOS++.
I am wondering if this partition can still be used f I decide in the future to reinstall OtherOS++ CFW and if the OtherOS++ CFW will take advantage of this already made partition. I don't mind leaving this partition there since my HD is pretty big, as long as I can use it in the future if needed and it is not just space that can be never used again.
Also, is the method I used to go from REBUG OtherOS++ 3.55.2 to REBUG (normal) 3.55.2 correct? I just updated from USB in the system update menu on XMB.
