He's asleep at the moment.. It should be up soon though (The app not evil.. haha).. like I said.. it is ready and working.. and hopefully idiot proof.. Even if you do manage to press another combo of buttons it will exit before that process will start.. I have tried very very hard to break it short of switching the PS3 off in the middle of it working (which I suppose is something an ass monkey would do.. lol)..

If you are on 3.41 you will have to install 3.41 like a normal update through the XMB or recovery.. You wont lose any data.
EDIT: Or try using the new Package Manager 0.9 – Installer 1.1 « Codename: RebugLast edited by Cyberskunk; 03-15-2011 at 12:55 PM.

'Package Manager 0.9 – Installer 1.1' is up.. This is for both 3.41 and 3.55
This is an update to the ‘Package Manager 0.9 – Installer’ NOT ‘Package Manager’ to make it a little safer by putting in some measures to avoid accidental end-user errors when installing.
People that have already installed Packager Manager do not need to use this unless they want to remove Package Manager or recreate the 'packages' folder on their PS3.

I guarantee SOMEONE will still break something
Welp, looks like the PS2 might be slightly doomed. It seems that it is now suffering from the dreaded "Disc read error". No discs will load now. It worked fine the last time I turned it on. It was...
