Need help with BD Eum and QA Flag please

Hey guys, I just updated my ps3 with a broken bluray drive today from 2.30 > 3.55 OFW > 4.21rebug in hopes of being able to fully enable dex mode and have the BD emu for much better compatibility as from what I can tell most games still don't work with direct boot.

I have run into some issues though when trying to follow the steps to try and do what I thought I needed to. The first is when I go into the toolbox, under QA flags it says not available and I have no way to enable it. Did I do something wrong in my process of installing the CFW or am I missing something to actually enable it/be able to?

Next I've been trying to dump the nand to be able to convert it to dex but am running into issues. I dump the nand fine, however no matter what program I try to use from the xmb to dump the EID keys, they all crash or freeze and lock up. Is there any way to convert it without dumping these? Is there any way to get the key without using these few apps, is otheros with linux the only other way?

If you look on Rebug's site, it explains that QA enabling is disabled on their 4.21 CFW.

thats why got eid0 key while on 3.55 but i dont get disc icon on xmb in rex 4.21..i have burned dvd with ps3 game folders and .sfb files in it..it shows game in multiman but not in xmb..i wud like to have disc icon on xmb as sum games need disc in drive and i have no bd disc..pls any help is welcome..thanks..

p.s--in debug settings i choose bd emulation--bd drive but changes automatically to usb.

So would the best course of action to be, be to download the 3.55 999 downgrader and install that over my 4.21? Then from there can I leave it as is, or install the actual rebug 3.55 over that? It seems like there's a lot more compatability right now for psn games and what not anyway so should I just do that and stick on 3.55?

I want to do this properly without bricking my system. Right now I'd just like to get back to 3.55 CFW to be able to enable QA and stick there for now until I can figure out the BDemu stuff.
