Media server connection option keeps switching to disabled

I just installed rebug 3.55 on my launch ps3. I have a ps3mediaserver server running and I like to watch videos from it, however whenever the ps3 reboots, I have to enable the media server connection option. Any thoughts as to why and how to fix it?

it's diabled by default, I believe the only way to fix is to use the REBOG changer and put it in retail mode, but then you lose all your other options until you change it back, in my opinion easier to enable when you want to use the media server
