NO REBUG WILL NOT INSTALL FROM RECOVERY MENU.. IT WILL ERROR.. IT IS A KNOWN BUG.. DO NOT TRY IT

EDIT: This is a beta remember.. The point of which is to get feedback.. Please if it is not installing for you it is an issue we have not come across yet..

If you really want to use it install the Rebug pack for now as it more stable than the PUP.. No bugs

People should read the first post and especially the warning in red before quickly drawing contradicting conclusions.

No offense with this, but isn't the only thing that gets changed here an XML file to set a few options to display?

If that's the case (or something similar), don't you think it's just a tad bit optomisitc to have any hope at all that the final goal of converting a retail PS3 into a debug one will ever be achieved by your team?

I'm just confused as to what has actually been done here?

KNOWN BUG: Unable to install Rebug 3.41E Beta from ‘recovery mode’.

PS3 will error while unpacking the Rebug 3.41E Beta PUP file in ‘recovery mode’. The machine will restart as normal with no data lost.

Nope, I have over 30GB free and still have issues trying to install.

EDIT: Hey Cyberskunk, I saw that, but gave it shot anyways since I can't get it to work through the XMB.

EDIT2: Launch PS3 20GB upgraded to 500GB, OFW 3.41, no custom firmwares installed or used

just to throw this out there maybe the problem is that my PS3 NAND is hardware based not like the new models which are all software based maybe that is the problem. I could be 100% wrong its just a guess. . .
