Awsome work guys, I knew it was around the corner so congrats! I have a old ps3 2.42 phat sitting here hardly used is there anything I can do to help???

Is it possible to disable the bluray drive check? or resign a bluray player in debug mode? (got one with a dead logic board) or do we need the recovery mode for that? (and how does that remarry work?)

I wont ask any "does gt5 work" related things but... seriously... what DOES it actually allow us to do? Whats better on debug firmware? What are the pros and cons?

So, if this gives us Debug features, and Debug machines can run games off DVD-R/BD-R (own games only, guys….don't be pirating!) will this work as well?

Also, doesn't Debug also allow you to spoof firmware as an option in the settings? If so, couldn't you spoof to the newest firmware available at the time to get PSN access at any time? This could potentially kill those worthless firmware updates (like this new 3.55 crap) that add no new features and just block off PSN to people...

why would you wanna do that? The DVD-R/BD-R thing? Aren't they still bloody expensive? $200 sum for the burner and a nice chunk for the BD.
