If i install rebug 3.55 over my 3.55 kmeaw, my psn content keep activated ? or i have to reaktivate it ? (log into psn....)...or can i backup the activations ?
I'm getting this error building from mfwbuilder:
FATAL ERROR: can't read "ON" no such variable
Using rebug 3.55.1 with mfwbuilder premade tcls from rebug site.
Ah, I put it in my users root folder not C: Thanks, will do.
Yes a hub is perfectly fine on the PS3. Infact most users that have the units with only 2 USB ports either prefer doing things over the network or using a USB hub. With doing things over the network you can install everything from telnet, and then use VNC to access the full GUI on linux with your PS3 and PC. It's awesome once you have it setup.
I personally have my linux setup to use VNC or whatever so I can remote in with my PC. That way I don't have to hook anything up to my PS3 when I need to work inside of linux. It's pretty sweet. Also it's not very hard to setup.
I plan on writing up some guides soon on how to do these things plus fully setup linux, and petitboot on the PS3.
I'm nowhere near a competent programmer as I'm just starting to learn how to program to get a leg up on my second year of college this fall(majoring in software engineering/programming), so writing guides is the only way I know how to help the scene.

Hmmm still giving me the same error. Everything I'm using I got from Rebugs site.
*Got it solved now*

Why does it say "Patching Update Manager to enable QA" in MFW builders LOG file. Note: This isn't my log file. I was planning on building the new Rebug patch to see if this is legit. But I was wondering your guys view was?
