Just read the whole thread, and here is what I think of this.
This is useful automatically because it is useful for the devs.
What is useful to them is useful to me because it will mean more homebrew.
Also I noticed people talking about the "speed of the scene"(which should be called the speed of the devs, not the scene).
I assumed (and read from squarepusher IIRC) that it takes longer to program for ps3 because it is newer and harder.
Real question : I have a ton of games on my hard drive. I will have to back up all of these if I wish to use this correct?
