Black Ops US Retail Disc not working Rebug! please help!

ive asked this many times but can never find anyone to respond, please help, i have the actual black ops disc, when i put it in and try to play it all i get is a black screen, and i hear some 2 second loop of the menu of black ops.... it just loops the sound and nothing happens unless i either restart ps3 or eject the disc which returns it to the xmb... ive tried with and without updates but still it doesnt work!

Tried backing up the disk and playing it from a BM?

no cause i dont have enough free space, but i mean if i get some sort of sound and it doesnt completely freeze the console... idk it worked fine on all firmwares before rebug, is there anything i can do in the recoverty menu that wont mess anything up? what does reuilb ps3 databse or file system do? if i do either of those will i still have all of my stuff activated or would i have to reactivate them...?

You can try options 2 & 3 and nothing will be harmed (PS3 Recovery Menu)

ok i rebuilt the database and the filesystem and still the same god damn thing happens!!?? wtf is going on here lol?

Could be that rebug changes some memory address that is needed for the game.

thats weird i got black ops running fine on backup uk version... try cleaning the disc.. i had problems with gta4 installing at first.

have you tried uncharted 2 disc? that one doesnt work for me
