3.55 Kmeav -> 3.55.1 Rebug?
3.55 Kmeav -> 3.55.1 Rebug? –

I had searching around and about to install Rebug to my PS3. The only problem left are some un-answer question that I can't find on google.
There doesn't seem to be 3.55 for REBUG, and it only 3.55.1. Do I lose anything if I update to 3.55.1?
Please also tell me which make REBUG better which Kmeav don't have. Thank you.

The short answer is no you don't lose anything. In point of fact rebug has a few extra features. I can't go into detail as to exactly what they are cause I don't use rebug myself. Just take a min. to look around there is tons of stuff in posts regarding rebug that will help. I think what Chesh is driving at here is if it wasn't safe he would not have linked a tut.

I went from Kmeaw 3.55 straight to Rebug 3.55.1 with no problems what-so-ever.
Ignore the .1 on the end of it, it's just to let you know that it's Rebug's first release of a 3.55 custom firmware. If they were to release a new 3.55 custom firmware it would be called 3.55.2
The main advantage of using Rebug's 3.55.1 is that it unlocks several options on your PS3 normally only available on Debug / Test consoles. The most important one of which is the ability to login to the developer's PSN. I won't go into how to do that here as there are plenty of tutorials around explaining how to do it and also what the advantages and risks are involved with doing it

Thank you very much for clearing my question.

A quote from the link chesh gave you.

Rebug 3.41.2 and 3.55.1 can be installed over the same version OFW/CFW/MFW on any model PS3 through the XMB or Recovery Mode and Rebug 3.41.2 can be installed in Service Mode.
