3.55.1 rebug No Blu ray movies playback –
06-25-2011,08:27 PM
Hi everybody, i recently installed the 3.55.1 rebug, multiman, an BDEMU. the problem is now i dont have blu ray movies playback. I went to recovery mode and installed via update option to OFW 3.55 and still i dont have playback.
But the wierd thing is i can play blu ray games, just not see movies!
Does anyone have some idea of what is hapennig?
Can i choose other option in the recovery mode in order to undo all of this installs?
Thank You

I dont understand why you are having this problem. I have rebug 3.55 and BD playback. Infact i just bought Unknown and The Adjustment Bureau last night for BD and they both played perfect.

If you are on Rebug check the region settings option. But..didn't you just post elsewhere you are on Kmeaw? No need for two threads imo..

dude to watch BD movies - put first BD emu (it is located - in the option "install package files"), and then emulating the BD movie through Multiman.... _ sorry for bad english _

^^^This.
I had the problem when loading a game on MM first, then choosing watch a dvd/blu ray movie afterwards. The disc would show up as a data disc, but clicking it would not work. I think its something to do with the payload. Anyways my way around it was going into the XMMB screen on MM and scrolling down past all my saved movies in the video column down to the title names Video Disc, which as you guessed it is going to be your dvd/bluray, or you can just reboot the PS3 to remove payload. So re-install the CFW of your choice and give this a try, although bit of a weird one with blu ray movies still not showing up on OFW?!?

multiMAN full comes with a BD Emulation Reset app, install the pkg & then run the app anytime you need to unmount the game to access the movie disc (sometimes USB/ BD Mirror)

you DO NOT need BDEMU to mount a movie disc from multiMAN

So can you hear the movie?? im wondering if you had force 3d output on and perhaps your setup isn't 3d capable?
Try going into debug menu and putting 3d output to auto and reset the video settings, ie 720p, 1080p ect.. should fire up not problems at all after that..
