What some of you people don't understand is a debug unit is not required. We have the SDK's and some libraries that will put out debug information to a PC. So a debug unit is not required. Kammy with the help of PSLight will do it. I'm sure you can jack Kammy into the PS3 SDK if you are crafty enough. We also have developer payloads which will help as well. So the debug unit is not required. The stuff we already have available will do it just fine and will make the code 100% stable with time. It seems he just wants donations for something else to tinker with.
But I will say I appreciate his efforts. I just think he should focus on one project at a time. or atleast get them semi stable so he can release the source code for the community to make improvements in case he decides to close them all due to burn out. If he keeps taking on so many projects eventually he's gonna start canceling them. I would much rather have source code before he makes that decision. Even if it's not stable. Source code can be improved....Non source code can not....
Can you make us any emulators? No? Then please leave this thread. It's HIS thread, he's trying to make a DS emulator, you don't like it, simple, leave, or do one yourself.
People like you are very depressing.
Also about source code, I think he mentioned somewhere that he's willing to release it/them when his emulators are in a better state, not giving them when they ain't stable.
Either way if the dude releases source code, and improves his emulators I don't care which route he takes. I'm just worried about him losing focus and burning out on his projects. Anyone that releases anything for the community is cool in my book. I respect the dude for even releasing something. I'm just worried is all....
Also, If a debug unit is more convenient and youre worried about him burning out, then wouldnt you want him to have a debug unit?
