For the last few weeks we’ve been helping drk||Raziel test and debug his nulldc emulator. We’re now pleased to exclusively bring you a video of it in action! Progress has been steady since his last update, showcasing the BIOS running. Games are now running and all of the graphical glitches are now gone from the BIOS! This is still a very early build of this emulator, and it will be a few more weeks before this really gets to playable form. It is currently running very slowly, (7.5 frames per second), but drk||Raziel has not even touched speed optimization yet. Also, many games have graphical glitches, sound is not ported yet, and most games don’t boot at all (mainly because they gripe about not having sound). However, progress is moving extremely quick on this project and it is shaping up very nicely! Below is a video of the emulator running Power Stone and Crazy Taxi and check out some pictures of it after the jump!

Please note video has been cut in a few spots, mainly when it is loading (it took a minute) the emulator at the beginning, and when it cuts to Crazy Taxi.

Thats fantastic.
So much progress in such a small amount of time
Make sure you butter the non reflective side of your CD's / DVD's and Blu-Rays so that when you drop them, they land butter side down thus preventing scratches.

Incredible!
I can't believe the speed that the PS3 homebrew scene is growing at!

this is wicked. can't wait to play DC games again. Anyone know if these are played using GDroms inserted into the PS3 (im guessing not) so im guessing ISO loader built into the EMU?

2 - is too slow, it's possible more speed\framerate ?

You shouldn't just copy and paste because "we" haven't been helping him and "after the jump" does not apply here
Also we can play most PS1 games via Bleemcast yey

Wow, can't wait for this. I think i might actually pull out my dreamcast when i get home and play some power stone as this video made me realize how much i miss it.
I noticed that all his programs were in one folder on the ps3. how do you do that? would like to keep my XMB as clean as possible as i do have a lot of purchased ps1 games already.

This is indeed a fantastic progress for the short period of time since the exploit was discovered. I bought a slim PS3. Sony F***ed it up by removing the PS2 support.
I would love to play PS2 games on PS3 rendered in high resolution settings just like PCSX2 does and not just a sh*ty upscaled version like the older PS3 did. It will be awesome!
