i tested VICE_C64_1_0_3.pkg on Geohot 3.55 firmware and it did not work. Just for kicks I ran ./package_finalize on it and tried that too. Did not install.

If someone does take a look at this then its worth grabbing the latest commit as there have been a few updates since 1.0.3. I had a quick go at compiling and couldn't get it working myself on 3.55 either.
Great to see this emu on the PS3, I was recently discussing playing through Pools Of Radiance with a friend when it was new. Lot's of fond memories, gotta try this out when I get home.
I still have a boxed C64, the 2nd smaller version.
So no one else having screen freezing problems?
If I enable the on screen displays such as frame rate, even when the screen is frozen I can see the minor variations in frame rate. PS button still works and I can exit emu.
Working fine here on kmeaw 3.55. Grabbed this one from somewhere a couple of weeks ago. Don't remember where now, but I was trawling around for quite a while looking for a decent 355 version.
I'm using TOSEC D64 games disks, unzipped, on internal drive. It doesn't like them if zipped - when launching them, instead of just LOAD "*",8,1 it tries to put a filename, but its corrupted with loads of ascii shit. Actually just checked and windows version does this too, so dunno if zip support is flaky or maybe cos of the wacky tosec filenames
Thanks but this won't even install for me, I just get an 8xxxxx error code on Waninkoko 3.55 CFW V2, I can install the original VICE_C64_1_0_3.pkg with Waninkoko 3.55 CFW V2 but just get the 8xxxxxx error when trying to run

Seriously though, thanks for this, going to show the kids how damn lucky they are to be able to play a ps3 and let them see what Dad had to play with!
