    This is really bugging me, what am I doing wrong here? Im trying to get Retroarch to run my old games on the PS3, I have no probs playing on the PC for SNES, Mega Drive (Genesis) Mame etc, I have latest MultiMan and Retroarch installed, I have an external USB with ROMS for all systems in their own folders, can someone please give me a step by step instruction to get the games running please? Am I best running them from MM or RetroArch? Im really lost here.

    Cheers

    Alright first... Having those folders with names of each system is doing you no good... Delete those folders and just throw all your roms in the ROMS folder all together. It organizes them for you in multiman and retroarch. Now just go to multiman under the retro section and they should all be there for you to play.

    And if they won't boot from multi man then go here http://store.brewology.com/whatsnew.php?lang= click on retro arch then click on previous versions and download the first one that says beta 3, install it and you should be up and running. That is the latest version that has the boot from multiman feature and isn't all buggy.

    @Griff

    Some of the cores in Beta 3 are not supported in multiMAN.

    Mednafen_neo_pop
    Mednafen_VB
    Mednafen_PSX

    I think that are the only ones not supported

    maybe mednafen Wswan as well but that may be supported.

    Right now i honestly recommend not booting your roms via multiMAN, especially if you are new to the emulator. As its hit and miss with cores and different versions.

    Thanks. So now I go to Retro Arch, settings, select the correct core, it should then list the roms available for that system and its just a click of teh X and im good to go? The ones I have managed to get working so far (mame roms 0.145) are wrong aspect ratio, is there a way to set a default screen size setting so they are all the same?

    Aspect ratio can be changed in the quick menu when game is running hit R3 then after changed it will save that for every boot of the game
