I realize that the PSX core is far from perfect, but I'm having some issues getting it going at all. First is the BIOS files, am I correct in putting them in /USRDIR/cores/system? That seems to be the "system" folder for Retroarch mentioned in the news post, but I couldn't find anything explicitly stating that directory. Second, am I correct in using .BIN and .CUE files? With this setup Retroarch always restarts the PS3 when I select a .CUE to load. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Mednafen_PSX - Only runs at 18 - 25 FPS & will not perform better without a dynarec. Requires the following BIOS files in the RetroArch system folder: scph1001.bin, scph5500.bin, scph5501.bin, scph5502.bin & scph7502.bin.
Yea that is the folder you want to place the bios of any system.
It will only show .CUE on the list. That is what is needed to boot. It is normal not to see the .BIN.

So I've got everything right, but my PS3 still just resets when I select a .CUE :/

Make sure you have ALL of the required PSX bios files, scph1001.bin, scph5500.bin, scph5501.bin, scph5502.bin & scph7502.bin.

Hmm, I am missing one, I'll have to track it down and add it, see if that fixes it, thanks for the idea!
