I'm not certain but it seems homebrew releases have slowed right down in the last two weeks
I am unsure but I think there is a psp emulator for pc and ps3sx is still being worked on open source, I think once psone emulation is done psp will be next then ps2.

Yeah, well I wish there was more work being done for psp emulation, it bound to be coming soon if psp minis work in retail mode. psp emulation is very possible if there selling minis on PSN

Was browsing around the PS3 files and found what looks to be a psp emulator. I have the 60gb phat w/ps2 BC and found a file called something like ps2emu.elf, which is probably the ps2 emulator. There is also ps1emu.elf... and to my surprise, a pspemu.elf. Someone may want to look into it.

Yes, because that isn't common knowledge already...

I was 'looking around'my PS3 via FTP and saw a folder called PSP Emulator. does anyone know what this is about? I'd love to be able to play my PSP games on my PS3. Someone more knowledgeable than me needs to check it out.

Someone more knowledgeable already knows about it. Everyone already knows about it. It's the cut-down emulator Sony uses to allow playing of Minis. It's not capable of playing full PSP titles.
