i just wish source has been released for this. as eve4n if the author doesnt have time there are plenty of other devs that would prolly like to try and optimize it.

Regardless his reasoning was sound. He didn't want any legal trouble as it was partly made with the Sony SDK. Once it is fully made with the Open SDK then he will release the source (or he may have even made it working nicely by then). The fact he is anon. is the worst, otherwise we might've been able to get some status updates

I personaly think it would be good to take a wait and see aproach..2 more weeks of waiting isn't going to hurt anybody

Someone may unlock the actual official PS1 emulator by then, what with Graf being able to decrypt it. The wait and see approach is perfect, not like I don't have plenty of other games to enjoy on this or other consoles ^_^

Oh exactly I have patience as well. I play my PS1 games just fine on my PS2, so no worries and own quite a few other consoles as well.

My point was it would be better to have a fully working emulator before worrying about a gui etc
