PS3SX - PSX emulator released.

Unsure about this. I have the correct Bios, it has been tried in all 4 USB ports, re-installed repeatedly, folders placed in correct place but yet it does not work. Have even tried it with only the 3 required folders in a USB drive. Of all the Emus I got, this is the only one that wont work. LOL

, então sempre que ele trava tenho que trocar a bios por outra igual e excluir o log assim ele volta a funcionar, no meu caso ele roda melhor com arquivo .img e .bin e com apenas as tres pastas na so no usb

Game requires subchannel data to get past that screen use a ppf patch on it

So if I have a 1TB Fat32 Ext HDD that I use with all other Emu's and use it for Wii then I have to Delete everything? That sucks. Anyone know when there will be a Update for this Emu? Is there a main website like code.google ?

i don't know about that i had a bunch of other files on the hdd along with the psx stuff and it worked just fine for me

If you find any problems with the FF7Music installer, you can PM me, and I'll try to have them fixed in the next version. Note, I only created the installer. Problems with FF7Music itself can't really be dealt with, since ficedula has pretty much disappeared.

Thanks a lot ! I'm not having any problem with the installer, really simple and works great. (Windows 7 x64) For the moment I'm using the remastered OST Really great thanks for that !

I agree ^^ Well now I'm using multiple patchs & mods :

- Aali's OpenGL Driver V0.7.8.9b (But I'm having problems with the minigames frame limit ! The Highway minigames don't want to limit the framerate :S)
- High Quality Cloud in battle mode
- NPC Reconstruction for characters with higher quality on the map etc...
- FF7Music Installer for the remastered OST

And you know what I've found ? ^^ Replacement FMVs for FFVII

You were right ! I've found it right now ! I will try it But I have to solve the framelimit problem (but I have activated it :S).

May I please remind all recent posters in this thread that you are high-jacking the topic.

This thread is dedicated ONLY to one specific PS1 emulator for the PS3.

It is not intended for generic discussion of various PSX games or the advantages or disadvantages of playing these games on original PSX hardware VS emulators on PC or other non-PS3 platforms.

Don't get me wrong now. I fully understand how interesting these things are, as I share these interests myself. But this thread is not the right place for them.

For discussion of such things this site has a separate PS1 subforum linked both in the main forum listing and right here.

i have a problem with the emulator..

i can play very well but i can't save :S
when i restart my ps3 i can't load a savegame....

This sucks, the emulator worked once for me, I tried to play driver then it crashed during the memory card check... ever since then I can't even get the emulator to launch, it black screens, flashes and then gets stuck on a black screen.

Also since using this my internal HDD has been loading homebrew slower, as in the icons and names for homebrew apps wouldn't show up for about 3 minutes if I didn't go straight to the games page when ps3 started up.
if I did go straight to the games page, launching a homebrew app would take extra long the first time, after which every app launches fine except for ps3sx.

this doesn't make much sense to me but i'm considering doing a full reformat on my hdd, i've done a quick one but ps3sx still crashes on startup so I doubt it's made much difference at the moment

Klonoa Door to Phantomile - Speed was great in FMV but Ingame, there was clouds moving somehow turn into glitches and wont do anything obviously something to do with memory check error I find.
