well glad to know you got it working ^_^
ugh anyone know an easier way to drag rows up to the top once they have been added to so we can keep the stuff that need to be done seprate from the one that are alreayd done
in google spread sheet
Castlevania SOTN Locks up shortly after intro finishes up(has a few hiccups prior to that as well). Ripped from original disc-ISO format(yes, you heard me, I have the original disc...after all this time too...damn it was dusty lol). Gonna try Bust a Groove 1 & 2 tomorrow(hoping soooooo hard that they work lol).
this looks very cool now i just have to work out how to use it lol
Yay! FFVII (PAL) works on my Asian PS3. Ripped with ImgBurn to BIN & CUE files.
That wouldn't even work via disc swapping before (I guess it needs the same video standard as the swap disc).
Daibouken Deluxe: Harukanaru Umi (SLPS-00813) also works, but the audio sounds like it's the wrong speed.
Hi here,
First thanks to the author for that pre-release. I have tested it and that's why I comment now :
1 - Peek & Poke "instruction" appears with PSGroove 1.1 ... so yes unless you are using a very old Payload : it does Peek & Poke ...
2 - Some black screen issues when launching the emulator seems to be a problem from the USB port you use. The author said that we need to use the Usb000 port, so the USB port at our right ... let me tell more about my own experience :
I'm using an iPod 5G with Hermes V4b Payload (original without spoof or anything else) on a CECH-2104 (Slim/EUR) with 3.41 firmware. First I've jailbreaked my PS3 connecting the iPod to the left USB port (as usual), then disconnected it to connect the USB Key (with bios and roms) = Black Screen when launching the emulator. Then i've tried the same thing with the right USB port : first iPod, then disconnect and connect USB Key ... Same thing = Black Screen when launching the emulator !
How I get it to works ? I've Jailbreaked my PS3 using the left USB port for the iPod, then I didn't disconnected it and I've connected the USB key on the right USB port ... Great ! The emulator is launching !
For games it's another story ... Hope that the emulator will be improved as said the author ! Anyway it's a pretty good POC.
EDIT : Hummm for me FFVII (PAL , Bin format CD1) is launching and freeze at the first battle in the game ! I've tested 3 differents bios (renaming them scph1001.bin) for the same result. For FFIX (PAL, Bin format CD1) the game is launching and freeze after the first "Sqauresoft" annoucement. Jon Salat can you tell me the Payload you are using please ?
This is an awesome start. It freezes up alot but damnit, it still starts most games already and its pre-release! So sweet! I hope he changes it so it doesn't depend on dev_usb000 because, on my slim, I have one of those multi-usb ports so there are 4 usb ports again and it changes the address to dev_usb007. Or maybe add ALL usb support? Or maybe give you the option to change directories?
EITHER WAY, this is an awesome development! The ps3 scene is progressing so fast, its amazing.
EDIT: NVM I'll test some games tomorrow. I have a few classics I wanna try out.
why message u eh im at work and will be up
and @mrdoca
its easy to set up
1. copy 3 folders plus pkg to root of usb stick or hdd
2. copy SCPH1001.bin in the bios folder(named exactly as it with lower case .bin)
3. Plug into ps3 on the right most port
4. Install pkg(will overwrite yabuse)
5. Load and play
also for the list when ur done making changes move it to the top of the page
easiest way is to add new row in top area and cut and paste your changed row
