Possible that theres a problem with the image files? Is there a CUE and a BIN together? MagicISO can convert a CD into a BIN and CUE format, and its a free program, just download it and you can convert all your CD's or ISO files into a BIN/CUE combo. Then just copy to USB or internal HDD and enjoy.
The game is Captain Tsubasa Get in the tomorrow. It's a Japanese football (soccer) rpg game.
I'll try another game of mine. Don't want to give up just yet..
Of course i don't know what i'm talking about. i've never had this error, but it could be something like that. :P
Otherwise it might be something different about Japanese games?
Are you using the correct region bios for the game?
Uhh... I don't know.. Thought the bios would play all my games tbh. I have quite a few from different regions.
EDIT: I've had a quick search on this and would like to confirm a few things. So scph1001.bin is US, scph1002.bin is PAL, and scph1003.bin is JAP? Or did I get that wrong?
EDIT2: I've got abut 14 bios files here. What happens if I put them all in the PSX folder?
EDIT3: Found this bit of info elsewhere. Not sure if it helps.
EDIT4: Finally! One of the games has worked! Spyro 2. Had an img file and used magiciso to convert it to bin/cue. Sound and gameplay is choppy though.Quote:

you should test PAL games with a PAL bios
you should test NTSC-US games with a NTSC-US bios
you should test NTSC-J games with a NTSC-J bios
Recommended bios for each region.
NTSC-US Bios: SCPH-1001.bin
NTSC-J Bios: SCPH-5000.bin
PAL Bios: SCPH-7502.bin
Bios versions to avoid:
SCPH-1000 (original NTSC-J bios (buggy))
SCPH-1002 (original PAL bios (buggy))
SCPH-101 (PsOne bios, known to be incompatible with some games)
NTSC-US Bios: SCPH-9001.bin
NTSC-J Bios: SCPH-7000.bin
PAL Bios: SCPH-7502.bin
Yeah as i said in my earlier posts i tried Spyro 2. I run it a lot on my PSP and almost completed it, but then i had to format my memory stick and lost my save. I completed it over 10 years ago on my PS1, and was dying to play through the whole game again. Hopefully the PS3 will soon be capable of doing such. :)
Glad you got it working.
Thanks for working on PSX emulation! I see alot of people are trying this out so i'm gonna sit this one out and wait for something clean :)
Mr. Hobo sir?
Are you planning on an MultiMan implementation aswell? if so, i think Mednafen also emulates SNES, i think at least? i haven't tried it yet. but if you are planning on implementing it in MM, will you remove SNES emulation from mednafen then?
I would love to be able to start as many games as possible from Multiman.. I don't play on my ps3 so much really, but you know.. just having the possibility is just dead awesome!
