(g)zDoom PPC on PS3 is still a dream of mine (yes, the source is supposed to be PPC-compatible) - I'm mentioning this here so somebody else can take up the project since I"m already overworked .

gzDoom with the PSX Doom 1 TC is plain fantastic. It could work out really well on PS3 if somebody did it right.

You need to download the wads from a seperate location(google for them). And then assign them to the required folder. Not sure what that is for this Doom port, havent tried it yet. Thats how it usually works for a Doom port.
As far as I know, my ps3 has never had an undetected error.

Thank you for this great doom engine port .

However, i was unable to bind any keys to L1/R1, R1/R2 which is kinda a bummer since i accidently remapped strafe left to X . Any way to be able to assign these manually in a settings file?

Also i'd really really much like to be able to strafe using the right analogue stick

Navigating the menus seems to be fine in default mode here.

Wow. I didn't know there was a version of PSX Doom for gzDoom. I will try that right now.

Wait wait wait.....is this an emulator? And if so is it like a port of Zdoom allowing you to play the wad files? Is that what this is??? Because from the readme it looks like it. It says "games menu" so...you can select not just Doom but other games. So...I just want to clear this up. IF this is the case that means the Hexen wad and Heretic wad should work flawlessly. I've used Zdoom for along time and understand it quite well. I'm not new to the wad thing. They got alot of cool Doom wad hacks out there too. Would be fun to play them on the system.

Also the person having trouble with configuring controls, if there is no manual configure then whats the point in using this? lol

Also does it have the custom Jump and Crouch feature like Zdoom has? That made Heretic so fun being able to do those because they were never in the original game lol
