Hi i was wondering if there is any Dev or anyone for that matter working on PDF files being viewable threw GameOS .
I know you can open PDFs on the PSP through the Web Browser (save them to your memory card, and open them up through there). You might be able to do the same thing on the PS3 allready.
I forget how to though. If you go to IGN.com, they have GAME GUIDES you can download to your PSP, and you can probably figure out the rest from there.

there is this app called SuiteApp, dont know if it reads pdf tho
If you have Linux running, you have some choices. xpdf for example, and really it should be installed native in any distro you get.
Now if you want a reader from XMB, then you need somebody to port over an open source PPC reader (or write one) on PS1ight.
Best bet for now through I would think linux is your best bet..
I think Showtime Media Player can view pdf's since it can view alot of file types. It said it could view images...I haven't exactly tried a pdf file though.
Nothing but guesses and maybes in here. I am going to look into downloading a pdf onto my USB, and seeing if one of these works
- IB
- SuiteApp
- Showtime
'I'll be back'

NO TO ALL!

I'm bumping this topic, because hopefully now a dev can build a PDF reader for the PS3. I recall in the PSP hombrew, there is an app that does this, hoping someone can make this work for the PS3.
